DPD stands for Design.Print.Destroy! and is a class of combat robotics where robots weigh only one pound! Students work in small teams to design, print, test, and complete their own BattleBot. In a similar fashion to the flagship Robobrawl 30lb competition, teams will compete in DPD tournaments throughout the year. All teams of students from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign are provided a set of electronics, specifics of which can be found in the Resources tab. Individuals are welcome to create their own robots, but no financial aid will be given.
