On Tuesday of this week, iRobotics went to Franklin Middle School’s STEM classroom, continuing our outreach efforts at Franklin from last year. Students worked in teams to make paper airplanes that could (1) fly for the longest time and (2) fly for the longest distance. Making a plane that could do both of these things was very tricky for students and for their iRobotics mentors! The winning plane stayed in the air for approximately 3.50 seconds and went a distance of approximately 5 meters. A job well done to everyone!
